Traverse City

4th of July Fun

So on the 4th I lead  a morning Hike/Yoga Group for a wedding party. It was super fun, we went for a Jog downtown Holland to Windmill Island which is where the wedding was going to be then we hopped in the cars and headed out to Lake town Beach for some yoga and a Hike to the Sand bowl. Here is a pic of this awesome wedding party. The Bride is in the Middle in the Lime Green shorts. She was so calm/relaxed about everything, I loved her positive attitude approach to the wedding and not getting wound up or stressed out about anything.

After that Travis and I met up with My Dad, Sister Sara and her BF Spencer and the Van Nuil's at the Gravel pits. It was really hot so it was great weather to get in some skiing, tubing, and wake boarding. Not going to lie my Arms were feeling kind of sore after all these fun water sports.

Traverse City Cherry Festival 5k

On Friday we Headed up to Traverse City for the Rest of the weekend. When we got there My sister met up with her soon to be room mate for this fall at GVSU, we visited Common Grounds, and had a nice lunch at Cup of Joes. My Parents and Grandparents got there later in the evening on Friday so we just kind of hung out and went for a walk when they got there.

Oh well Also Picked up our shirts for the 5K. Like our Matching Shirts :)

Saturday Morning Bright and Early we were up for the 5k, We had Great Times considering that it was really warm outside already in the morning and the race was really crowded.

Old Mission Peninsula

Later in the day Saturday we headed out to Old Mission Peninsula to visit the light house at the end of the peninsula. It was a really neat area to visit, you could walk out towards the water along ways on kind of a rocky, sandy shore, that looked like it used to be covered in water, but the water mush be really low right now.

Jolly Pumpkin

Our Dinner outing and Saturday Evening was the Jolly Pumpkin. http://www.jollypumpkin.com/traversecity/
Travis and My Dad both got the Beer Sampler so that they could try the Artisan Beers that the restaurant is known for. For Dinner my sister and Split and Apple Crepe Salad and the Margarita Pizza, bother were really yummy.
