As a huge group of 35 runners, GVRC (Running Club) participated in the Frozen Foot, which is a 5miles race in Traverse City. I have never heard of it until now, but it was really fun to run in this smaller race through the ups and downs that surround the East Bay in Traverse City. As a club, I believe this was our biggest turn out for a race. Pacing out a 5mile race was a little different than I was used to, but I felt I had a good time of 38:58. It was a brisk morning to run but we all got warmed up during the race. It was a great day with friends and starting the year of running off great!
